Our Story
Converging in Seattle
Kaitlin and Kevin independently move to Seattle to work for Microsoft.
They Meet!
Kaitlin and Kevin meet at Alibi Room, a bar in Seattle. Kaitlin makes fun of Kevin for living in Bellevue, which makes him think that things are not going so well with this girl. They continue to run into each other for the next few years and eventually forget about this encounter.
The First Date
Kaitlin and Kevin go on their first date at Jamjuree. They share Thai food, delightful conversation, and an awkward goodbye hug.
St. Lucia
Kaitlin and Kevin go on their first vacation together in St. Lucia. They take their first selfie together (not pictured: said selfie). They also scuba dive together for the first time.
Meeting the Family
Kevin visits Kaitlin's family in NJ for Christmas at the invitation of Kaitlin's younger sister (and one of her maids of honor) Amanda.
Hawaii
Kaitlin and Kevin go to Hawaii together. They take more selfies and do more scuba diving.
Nebraska
Kaitlin goes to Nebraska for the first time ever in her life. She meets her new best friend Brewster. She learns that everyone who lives in Nebraska is very proud of their zoo, which is definitely much better than the San Diego zoo.
Living Together
Kaitlin and Kevin move in together, along with Kevin's adorable kitties, Marie Antoinette and Eva.
Thailand/South Korea
Kaitlin and Kevin explore Asia together. They go on a 10 day tour of Northern Thailand, where they see lots of elephants before heading off to Seoul to enjoy the freezing cold South Korea winter.
Kevin Hatches a Plan
Kaitlin heads to Las Vegas for a work trip. Kevin skips work and heads to a jewelry store. He spends several hours working up the courage to call Kaitlin's mom to ask her a very important question, then several more hours recovering from it afterward.
The Proposal
Kevin pops the question. Kaitlin claims she was surprised and that her fresh manicure was just a coincidence.
The House
Kaitlin and Kevin buy a house together. After months of browsing on Redfin, they put an offer on the first house they visit.
The House Becomes a Home
Kaitlin and Kevin assemble a giant cat tree as the first piece of furniture in their new home.
Tokyo
Kaitlin and Kevin visit Tokyo. The trip entailed walking 10 miles a day, mostly from one restaurant to the next. Occasionally, they'd stop and watch robots fight each other.
The Wedding
Kaitlin and Kevin are getting married! They hope you'll be there to celebrate with them.
The Honeymoon
Kaitlin and Kevin are headed to Australia for their honeymoon! Exact plans TBD.
